Live jazz continues to rebound across Southern California with shows from Eric Reed, Billy Childs, Gordon Goodwin, Cannonball-Coltrane Project,
Eric Marienthal, Catina DeLuna & Otmaro Ruiz, Bob Reynolds, Keiko Matsui, Rachel Flowers, Lorraina Marro, Paul Jost, Alec Schulman, Dale Fielder, and the weekend’s Meta Jax Jazz Festival in Newport Beach.

Tuesday, June 15th marks the end of most California restrictions on live music venues including bars, restaurants, and indoor/outdoor performance venues. Some venues will immediately begin offering full seating for live music, and numerous others are expected to re-open in the coming weeks.

Please check with venues in regards to policies on advance reservations, masks and social distancing. The three-day Meta Jax Jazz Festival at Campus Jax in Newport Beach opens with vocalists Carol Bach-y-Rita and Paul Jost. Pianist/vocalist Keiko Matsui is at the Canyon in Montclair.
