Drummer Walfredo Reyes, Jr. is at The Baked Potato in Studio City. Roll Call Jazz is at Blue Whale in Little Tokyo. The Neelamjit Dhillon Quartet and Isaura String Quartet combine for an evening at REDCAT in downtown Los Angeles. The Lowery Brothers are at H.O.M.E. in Beverly Hills. Trumpeter Brian Swartz is at Perch in downtown L.A.. Barbara Morrison is at Pips on La Brea in West Hollywood. The Makers are at Seven Grand in downtown L.A.. John Pisano’s Guitar Night features John Chiodini at Viva Cantina in Burbank. The Pomona College Jazz Ensemble performs a late afternoon show at Lyman Hall in Claremont.

Austrian guitarist Alex Machacek is at The Baked Potato in Studio City with Hadrien Feraud on bass and Eric Valentine on drums. The Armenian trio of percussionist and vocalist Arto Tuncboyaciyan, pianist/keyboardist Vardan Ovsepian, and cellist Artyom Manukyan is at Blue Whale in Little Tokyo. Pianist Max Haymer is at Catalina in Hollywood. Vocalist Gregg Arthur is at Vibrato in Bel Air. The Ben Rose Band with vocalist Laura Mace is at Perch in downtown L.A.. Pianist Cougar Estrada is at Jax in Glendale. Guitarist Matt Cohen is at Pips on La Brea in West Hollywood. Pianist Haakon Graf plays a solo show at Squashed Grapes in Ventura. Thanksgiving jazz this year is provided by vocalist Cathy Segal-Garcia at the Holiday Inn in Burbank, courtesy of the Holiday Celebration Club. The early afternoon buffet will feature Cathy, backed by Karen Hammack on piano, Chris Conner on bass, Kendall Kay on drums and Allan Walker on tenor sax.
