Tuesday 9/1 – Laura Dickinson at Rockwell Table & Stage

Vocalist Laura Dickinson begins a September residency at Rockwell Table & Stage in Los Feliz with a ten-piece group which this week includes Bernie Dresel on drums, Andrew Synowiec on guitar, Tim Lefebvre on bass, Scott Healy on piano, Brian Scanlon, Tom Luer, and Terry Landry on saxes, Jim McMillen on trombone, and Mike Cottone and James Blackwell on trumpets. Groove Legacy is at The Baked Potato in Studio City with Kirk Fletcher and Sam Meek on guitars, Billy Steinway on keys, Paulie Cerra on sax, Travis Carlton on bass, and Lemar Carter on drums. Jazz Marathon II is at Catalina in Hollywood with groups including trombonist and saxophonist Pete Christleb. Drummer Dan Schnelle leads a jam session at Blue Whale in Little Tokyo.
