Tuesday 7/7 – Barbara Morrison at Hollywood & Highland

Veteran vocalist Barbara Morrison is at the Hollywood & Highland Center for a free evening concert (also at Steamers Friday and Saturday). The Fabian Fernandez Trio is at Vibrato. The Thelonious Monk Institute holds their montly jam session at Blue Whale. Trumpeter Brian Swartz is at Perch. The Makers are at Seven Grand. Wednesday 7/8 – Artyom Manukyan Project at The Baked Potato

Cellist Artyom Manukyan is at The Baked Potato in Studio City with Vardan Ovsepian on keys, Gavin Salmon on drums, Tim Lefebvre on bass, and Troy Zeigler on Sound Efx. The Four Freshmen kick off the Wednesday Sunset Jazz series at the Mariott Beach Hotel & Spa in Newport Beach. Pianist Calli O’Doherty is at Blue Whale (also at SoHo Santa Barbara on Monday 7/6).
